Michael's Movers for Parkinson's

Working together to make lives better

What we do, and why we do it

Michael’s Movers for Parkinson’s started in 2012 and have raised to date over £128422.

This money will continue to be used on providing support for people with Parkinson’s Disease and their carers.  In the past one of the most successful initiatives was the Monday Lunch Club, which took place in St Joseph’s Church Hall in Clarkston. This has now been re-launched as the Michael’s Movers Monthly Monday Club and takes place in  St Joseph’s Church Hall once per month.    Funding is also given to various projects to support ongoing research. We provide  therapies to Parkinson’s sufferers such as Reflexology, Reiki, Massage, Indian Head Massage and Aromatherapy.

We look forward to continuing with all the charity activities and fundraising events in the forthcoming year.  A massive thank you to everyone who has supported the charity, made donations and helped with all our fundraising activities.
